Tsuda-no-matsubara Beach Resort — Local services in Sanuki

This is a great beach. The park is called Tsuda no Matsubara which means 'the Pine Groves of Tsuda' since there are 3,000 pine trees there. It was given the title of one of the top 100 beaches in Japan back in the 1980s. There are information points in English which tell you more about the interesting history.

We went in May and swam in the sea which was really relaxing. It has good shade too. Visit the nearby udon noodles restaurant when you're there. The beach is 10 mins walk away from Tsuda...

日曜日の８時半に到着したときは自分たち以外２家族程度で閑散としており、１２時くらいには割りと人手はあったけど芋洗い状態ではなかったです。 駐車場は道の駅を利用しました。無料でした。そこから徒歩３分ほど。 クロックス履いて行ったら砂利が入る入る。ビーチは砂浜というより小石浜。石だらけ。これまたクロックスに入りまくって、次回からメッシュ素材の水遊び専用シューズにしようと心から思いました。 割りと風が強く、持参したテントは風に煽られてヨレヨレ。ビーチパラソルが飛んでいるのも見かけました。誰かに当たったら怪我しそうな雰囲気。 コロナなので海の家は無く、有料のシャワーと更衣室のみ。 これについて一番言及したかったです。 まず、利用できるのは１１時から１６時まで。そして水のみ。温水ではありません。 ロッカーも、着替えるエリアもシャワーブースの目の前にあり落ち着かないし、何より汚い。 ３ブースのうちの１つは蛇口をひねっても水が出ない。 実質２ブースのみ。 大人３００円で、子供の分は不要と言われました。時間制限も特に言われませんでした。 料金や使える時間帯、温水かどうかなど、何かしらのインフォメーション...
