ゴールデンウィークに行きました。 諏訪湖の方から入りました。 ヴィーナスラインを車で登って行く途中はサクレが満開でした。 流石に上は寒く上着必須です。 車から降りて高原を歩くと地面に見たこともない巨大な割り箸大の霜柱が張っていて驚きました。 エアコンの名前になっているだけあり空気は涼しく綺麗で富士山もハッキリ見えました。 奥に聳える山々は横山大観の絵ような青い山に白い雪がかかっていました。 頂上ではコロポックルヒュッテのボルシチや無料パーキングの五平餅、ソフトクリームなど全て最高の美味しさでした。 トイレはしっかりした仮設トイレや周辺施設にあるので心配いりません。 天気が良い日にはぜひお立ち寄りください。

ビーナスラインで本当に眺望の良い区間は意外と短いですが、高原独特の雰囲気は何度来ても良いです。 気温や景観を考慮すると、新緑の6月からススキの広がる10月頃までがオススメです。

無料駐車場の近くに某キャンプ漫画・アニメでも取り上げられていたライブカメラがあり、私もその場から友人にURLを送って擬似生放送をしてみたら結構ウケました(笑)。 インスタやツイキャスやニコ生ではなく敢えて公共インフラのライブカメラでやるというのが楽しいのですが、映るのは路上なので試される方は事故や迷惑になら...
