Tabayama Spa — Local services in Tabayama

I thought Hottarakashi Onsen was the best, but this onsen is better in different ways.

Although the view isn't as good as the former, the bath is great, there are indoor and outdoor hot baths! There was also a place to sleep, so that was good too.

Saunas were there too, but I didn't use it.

The thing that was the most new to me was a bath that was around 25C. It's great when you wanna get some sun and wanting to cool down slowly without shocking your body with cold so you can take another...

【料金】１日 大人 ￥900 (中学生以上) 子供 ￥450 (小学生) 幼児 無料 (小学生未満)

※2018年6月にリニューアルに伴い料金改定。

今までの３時間￥600からの大幅値上げは残念です。

【システム】 ①カギつきの下駄箱に靴を入れて入館。

②券売機で料金を支払い、受付に券を渡せばOK。

③脱衣場では空いているロッカーを選んで使います。(￥100返却式)

※屋根があるので湯につかりながらだと隙間から空が見える感じです。

【備考】 和風風呂とローマ風呂で男女入れ替わります。

Did not use the public bath, but I'm sure after that hot water you'd be more than happy to have a great meal. The noodles in both dishes are hand made- soba and udon noodles. The left is a mushroom filled soya base soba soup :) and the right is a soya based udon soup with tempura bits. Nice and warm. This place has cold options too (and also other dishes than noodles- like a curry).

Would be another five star, but I did not try the bath so I cannot give a...
