A great place to take a bath in an onsen! The place is right next to the ropeway. It’s very clean and the natural surroundings helps to relax and unwind. We were the only ones there at the time and I think it’s not crowded most of the time. The only thing that I miss is a special room where you can relax a bit after the bath – but the museum that is also the entrance to the onsen is a very quiet place where you can sit down and chill for a bit. Amazing experience and there's so few people. When I went I was the only one the whole time! Granted it was on a weekday in January. It looked especially beautiful in the snow.
