宇賀明神は嘉保3年康和元年(1096年1099年) 安房守として赴任した安房國司、 源親元卿が地域産業の発展を願い、 嘉保3年(1096年) 倉稲魂(うかのみたま)の神を勧請し鷹ノ島の弁財天と共に建立しました。 倉稲魂(うかのみたま)の神は稲作の神、 農業神とされるほか漁業神、 商業神、 福神として平安時代以降、 絶えること無く人々の厚い信仰を受けてきました。 あらゆる産業の神様です。 一説によると字賀明神の宇賀は「なが一」と同じであるとされ、「ながー」は蛇のことで字賀は 「白い蛇」とも言われています。 2000年12月17日...

沖ノ島宇賀大明神

島の中央の道からと、島の左側の海岸沿いから登る事ができます。

海側から階段を登り２つの鳥居を通ると正面に小さな拝殿があり、ハートを作る赤いモールを貰うことができます。右手にハートを収める鰯網のボードがありたくさんのハートが飾られています。

であい伝説　昔から春になるとイワシの群れが島を囲んで海を深紅に染めたことから、伝説によれば宇賀明神の白いヘビと深紅のイワシの出逢い生愛が幸せを呼ぶスポットとして今も語り継がれている。

神社は1096年〜1099年に赴任した安房国司の源親元が1096年に建立、五穀を司る神・倉稲塊命が祀られ、あらゆる...
