Tateyama Station — Local services in Tateyama

A station that is close to a beach. Definitely not a regular looking station. Frequency of the trains are almost every hour so watch out for that if you are used to the train schedules of bigger city. I guess maybe it's a countryside thing?

There are also a few souvenir shops around the station. Bus that'll take you around the city, to Chiba City, and Tokyo (Shinjuku and Tokyo Station). They've got bicycles for rent, a regular japanese bikes and MTB/Road...

The station area somehow reminds me of an American beach city. You need to ask the station staff for the Eki Stamp, it is located inside their office. Fun fact: from what I understand from the stamp, the station has been around since 1919!
