I climbed with my touring bike definitely only recommend that if you have decent low gear and general fitness though you could walk it up with the bike I suppose. Benefit of going up with bike is that you can go up, then down later via different route for variety.

Nothing overly special about this farm though you can get pretty close to the cows and calfs if lucky. Decent sights of the area in good weather. I also used this as a visit spot to spend bit of time waiting for the clouds to clear (if you time well clouds can disappear during afternoon) I gave it 4 stars mainly because this is the last stop for toilet or drinks before the hike and crater loop so I assume most will get here...
