It is an island “not for every one”, if you like a zen and chill place then this might be the island where you are looking for…..highly don’t recommend to go there on a rainy day as they don’t rent electric bike during rainy days, while they maintain the same bus shuttle schedule which is about every one and half hour…..the bus here are tiny…..our bus driver was kind enough to try to let the passengers get on as many as possible, squeezed like sardines fishes……..the Teshima art museum is kind of boring unless you like meditation……..there are a couple of restaurants nearby the pier so is a good place to wait for the ferry if you end up finishing earlier than expected……..

A quiet island with some interesting art installations and museums. We went with the purpose of visiting the heartbeat archive. The views and beaches were stunning. There are not many cafes and restaurants. Half a day here and half a day on another island maybe be good, or a very slow paced day here.

Eine besondere Insel. Wenige Touristen. Und ein sehr besonderer Ort. Am besten ein wenig Zeit mitbringen, sich ein Fahhrad leihen und dann entspannt die Insel erkunden und zum „Museum“ fahren (10-15min). Vor Ort gibt es ein gemütliches Kaffee und man kann die Aussicht genießen. Die Ausstellung an sich ist wirklich beindruckend. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall hier einen halben Tag zu verbringen.
