Tottori Airport — Local services in Tottori

From Oct 2 - 6, 2024, my wife and I visited the Airport three times, primarily because we missed our 13:25 flight which should arrive by 14:45.

On Oct 2, 2024, we arrived at 17:45. While our Times car rental closed at 15:00, we could catch a 17:55 airport limousine.

On Oct 3, 2024, we returned to the airport again at around noon to pick up our rental car. Apart from shopping, I played the piano and my performance was taped by an appreciative tourist who clapped her hands.

On Oct 6, 2024, after returning our rental car, my wife had a special coffee while I played the piano again before flying...

Wasn‘t there for a flight but to see the Detective Conan statues and exhibits. Those were really nice to see and a nice addition to the ones at Conan Street. We planned to take a shuttle bus back to Tottori Station but it got delayed due to a delayed plane (probably becausee of the weather). A employee at the information desk was so kind to inform us about that, offered to refund our ticket for the bus and called us taxi, when we asked for it. His englisch was quite good too.

Very lovingly decorated with Detective Conan posters, picture points and statues. There is even a Conan souvenir shop in the airport!

Besides a small cafe, the airport does not seem to have other food options. Car rental options are plenty. However, public buses to the Tottori station from bus stop #1 is not frequent, estimated a bus every hour or so.
