I had an amazing start to the year with a visit to Kano Shrine in my new hometown of Uraga. What a fantastic way to kick off 2024! The community energy here is truly wonderful, and I've felt so welcomed since moving to this beautiful city.

Kano Shrine is a gem of Japanese tradition nestled in our local area. While it may not be the largest shrine, its beauty and sacred atmosphere are truly captivating. The significance of this shrine is truly special – it's a place where you can make your wishes and see them come true. Who wouldn't want to start the year by asking for their heart's desires?

The atmosphere at the shrine is incredibly cozy, making it a perfect place to stop by and take a moment for yourself. Whether you're a local resident or just passing through, it's easily accessible and definitely worth a visit.

One unique feature of Kano Shrine is that it has a sister shrine located on the opposite side of the bay. How cool is that? This opens up the opportunity to explore both and even grab pair souvenirs to commemorate your visit. It's a wonderful way to experience the interconnectedness of these sacred places and make the most of your visit.

This facility is a Japanese traditional shrine. Not huge but looks nice and of course it’s very sacred place. The mean of this shrine is like this, you can get your wish!! So come and pray for what you want to get!! Cozy place and you can stop by easily!! This shrine is a sister of the other Shrine just located the opposite side over the bay!!
