This became the birthday treat for the young uns when they got past the years of bouncing castles and face-painters. I must say, its an enjoyable experience to go and blow off some steam on the track and just cut loose with them, There's an amazing competitive spirit that gets going when you get behind those little speedsters. Sadly, there is no real competition for the owners of the business so over the years, the quality of the experience has been degraded by little-to-no investment in keeping the track or the karts well maintained. It has happened severally in the last few times I've been there for one or more karts to just stall in the middle of the measly 10-minute time slot allocated for each race. This takes away from the enjoyment of the experience, especially for those who go there to compete against each other, even if its just for friendly fun. The gear provided is also aging and drab. The service at the restaurant is, to put it mildly, lacklustre! The management needs to pay keener attention to the place. In all though, just for the thrills, I'll still keep going back whenever I get the chance. The management would also do well to introduce open competitions and tournaments which would really bump up their image and reputation and bring in lots...

When you've had the chance to go GP karting in the UK with excellent service, good condition karts and track then don't even bother wasting your time GP karting in Nairobi! 11 of us went on Tuesday afternoon for my birthday and whilst we paid extortionate rates for 20 minutes of racing time, we only managed to race 10 of them in the 4.5hours we were there! Service was appalling and the staff were unbothered and rude. Some karts were not in a good enough condition to drive either being severely damaged or sparking from the engine. There was clearly a shortage of staff on the track as it took several minutes to pull out drivers who had crashed into the safety tyres and equally as long to clear the track of any stray tyres which was particularly unsafe.

The only thing keeping me sane during this experience was the company I came with. A place that used to a certain value during my childhood is now nothing but a run down, soon to be gone disappointment! If anything, they should have extended a full refund for the delay and bad service.

Never again!!!! I do not recommend you go there unless by some miracle they can pull their act together!...

GP Karting is hands down the best experience you will ever have if you love cars and want the general experience of gp karting. Kids will love it...

They have great food as well so if you're not driving, you'll still be happy if you're a foodie.

The 3 stars is because I think you have to know or bribe someone (employee) to get to your ride in time or even get a good car. My people had to wait ( dressed and in cars during their round) 25 minutes in a car as other newbies were flagged off even while waited. Might have been logistics but I don't think so... whenever something is complicated, some dog is eating homework.

If you're not sure how to drive the cars, you might want to get lessons from someone who has gone before you because they get upset if you ask too many questions or if crash the safety tyres on the track which to me seems not right.

You are also supposed to get your results; average speed, best lap etc but the systems might not be working depending on whether you bribed someone.

Would not go back but try it and tell me where we went...
