This was an incredibly memorable and meaningful experience. As an Eagle Scout from the USA, it was truly an honor to be in the presence of scouts and leaders from across the world, each having hung their neckeechiefs and shoulder patches for visitors to explore. It is really worth a trip if anyone involved in scouting has made their way over to Kenya....

I traveled from Nairobi to Nyeri to visit the memorial but was barely able to spend 5 minutes there as caretaker Frank would not let me stay longer on the premises. It is not worth a visit from Nairobi to be able to spend such little time at...
