Review 1:
Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy is a serene haven under the majestic foothills of Mt. Kenya, just 10km from Nanyuki town. The friendly animals offer an unforgettable experience as you can even feed them, but only with food provided by the staff, ensuring their safety. The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Getting there is easy, with taxis costing 1,000-1,200 Ksh for a round trip or bodaboda for 800 Ksh. The entrance fee of 1,000 Ksh for citizens is worth it for a close encounter with nature. Highly recommended!

Read moreMy wife and I volunteered at MKWC for a week. It was a great experience. The best time of our month long trip to Kenya (and we witnessed Mara river crossing). Being with the animals, caring for them, cleaning after them, feed preparations, feeding the infants, observing their behaviour and ultimately, hoping that they would make their way back to the wild. Also, they do some great, outstanding, beyond words work with the Mountain Bongo. Saving a species from extinction. Staff, rangers, everyone is so friendly, hard working, organized.
Keep up...
Read moreDon't miss it! This place is really impressing. You will come super close to all kinds of animals which live there together peacefully. Non-residents pay 2000KES , Residents 1000KES (by far the fairest prices we got as tourists all over kenya - in other places they would charge you 10x more as a tourist). Our guide Timothy is a great person who really found his passion with the work. We learned a lot this day and would recommend you to visit the place and support the project! In all our 3 months East Africa trip that was...
