Ok lets start off with whats the difference between this smoky wild boar meat vs the typical siuyok.
Sinalau bakas - hard to chew fats + skin, only meat edible easily without exercising your jaw. Able to enjoy eating only the amokey M E A T. So take note guys, get the piece only with the meat !!
Siu yok - basically the skin is crispy roasted and fats soft for the teeth to chew. Able to enjoy eating combination of skin+fats+meat
Firstly the meat sold in this stall seems to be good. We bought 800grams worth of meat ONLY for RM32. Price OK 👌🏻
The lady also offer a type of lime/lemon/orange. Maybe its the local fruit to sprinkle on the meat. Then the condiments, theres 1 particular spicy condiment, take note ya. To me it is special but peculiar as well as it has the smell of the “brown marmorated stink bug” smell. Please google what this bug if you are not sure. However, for a spice lover like me. I think i enjoyed the spicyness !
However, please be reminded, the cleanliness of this place is next level horrible. Don’t expect the toilet to be clean. There are 1 particular Sinalau Bakas stalls after this which offers bigger, cleaner seating place and cleaner toilets.

Taste It is more Chinese-style for me, lighter taste, juicy when serve hot (the meat becomes dryer if you take away) Chilli : spicy good! 🌶
Parking Limited but sufficient. Visited twice, no parking problem.
Environment Acceptable. Table might have stain from previous customers, please request the owner to clean it, if you insist; or you can clean it yourself. Stray dogs will approach you when you are eating. Don’t look into their eyes, or feed them any food, if you want them to stay a distance. You definitely will attract more when you start feeding.
Price Reasonable. RM27/kg, as at 07/01/2022. They sell frozen food too! You can refer to photos attached.

There are all relatives. His mother’s sisters and cousins. Judy is well versed in speaking Chinese! So we communicated easily.
You could buy the whole piece or half of it. The price is show on the meat it self. We went for the ribs for a balance chew and fats👍🏻
Try out their ubi kayu too! Tasty snacks while driving up or as your supper!!
📍Location 4/5: easily spotted while driving up to Kundasang town. 🍖 food 5/5 : the smoked pork is next level! Try it with their pickled vege and spicy sauce. *is not the cleanest place to dine in. As Malaysian, we are used to it🫣
When heading back to Kk airport we go to a 2nd round to have lunch here.
