Kitty and I recently discovered Loveuu Farm while on a round-island cycling trip in Penang. Located in Kampung Terang, Balik Pulau, this charming spot offers a peaceful escape with a stunning view of a nearby paddy field.
We decided to stop by for a refreshing tea break and were immediately drawn to the tranquil atmosphere. The farm is well-renovated, with a serene ambiance that invites relaxation. The friendly Indian Muslim staff greeted us warmly and recommended their tea sets.
We opted for the "King's Salad" (H4) and two orders of the "Honey Lemon" (H2) set. Both were incredibly refreshing, perfect for combating the hot weather. The "King's Salad" was particularly intriguing, with its unique blend of flavors. The tea itself was expertly brewed, and the ice sets were a welcome treat.
While enjoying our tea, we couldn't help but be captivated by the beautiful scenery. The paddy field provides a picturesque backdrop, and the gentle breeze adds to the tranquil atmosphere. However, be warned: the wind can be strong, so diners should be mindful of their belongings.
While the atmosphere and the tea were excellent, we were disappointed with the pastry selection. The pastry we tried was not to our liking, which unfortunately detracted from the overall experience.
Despite the pastry shortcomings, Loveuu Farm remains a hidden gem in Balik Pulau, offering a peaceful respite and a chance to enjoy delicious tea with a stunning view. The friendly staff and unique tea sets make it a worthwhile destination for anyone seeking a relaxing and scenic break. However, we would recommend skipping the pastry and focusing on the tea, which is truly exceptional. We give Loveuu Farm 4 stars for its serene atmosphere, delicious tea, and beautiful scenery, but hope they can improve their pastry offerings...
