Lotus's Semenyih — Local services in Kajang Municipal Council

It's a pretty big supermarket, so you can probably get most, if not all of the items in your grocery list.

Prices are generally higher than other stores.

Tbh, i prefer Tesco over Lotus.

My main gripe is this: Loooong lines at the checkout counters & they don't have a dedicated Express Lane, except if you use their in-house app. * Boooo *

They should open up more counters when customers are lining-up 5-6 deep, extending into the goods aisle & creating a whole set of issues with shoppers who want to check-out & those wanting to move about within the aisles.

When this place was Tesco, customer service was way better & they made sure that whenever more than 3 customers (or thereabouts) were lining-up to check-out, they'd open up additional counters. & Tesco had Express Lanes!!!

My advice: Go to Jaya Grocer @ Eco Majestic...

Overall, Lotus is good since I'm a loyal customer, but the issues are the foodcourt staff. The one with Nasi goreng stall. The old man who works there. I ordered Nasi Goreng Usa and Nasi goreng Kampung, but the staff keyed in the wrong item in the receipt, he put Nasi goreng Bangkok. When I pointed this out politely, instead of correcting the mistake in a professional manner, the staff raised his voice at me and was extremely rude. I found this behavior very disrespectful and unacceptable, especially towards a customer. He could've explain why he chose that simply because the food were the same price that's why he intentionally keyed in the wrong item but instead he yell at me for pointing it out. It's also very early for him to be in a badmood. its. 10 am, not even a lot of customers in his stall too. So Rude. Don't work if you don't want to deal...

A customer before us wanted to buy the frozen meat but d cashier said must weigh and scan first. D customer said its ok, not buying because didnt want to queue again. Then d cashier put d frozen meat in a plastic bag n put under d cashier table. I wonder what will happen to d meat. Terus buang after that or put back in d freezer after he remembers? Contamination already happened. Manager of tesco semenyih should look into this matter. If a customer does not want to buy frozen or fresh products, he should assign a dedicated staff to return the products to d fridge/freezerto maintain d freshness. Such a waste and even hazard to potential customer, as the meat is already contaminated due already thawed n not fresh already. Please take note tesco...
