Here is a simple review of your Merdeka fireworks viewing experience from Lookout Point @ Changkat Tunku. Merdeka Night View from Lookout Point @ Changkat Tunku For a truly memorable Merdeka night, Lookout Point @ Changkat Tunku offers an incredible vantage point to witness the city's fireworks. Tucked away on a rooftop, this hidden gem provides a spectacular, high-up view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline, making it one of the best spots to catch the dazzling display. The view is breathtakingly comprehensive. From this elevated position, you can see all of Kuala Lumpur's most iconic landmarks—the towering KLCC, the distinctive KL Tower, the modern TRX Tower, and the majestic Merdeka 118—all lit up against the night sky as the fireworks burst around them. The panoramic view allows you to appreciate the fireworks from multiple locations at once, creating a stunning visual symphony. Getting there requires a little effort, but it is well worth it. After parking at the entrance, you'll take a pleasant 15-minute walk up the hill. As you pass through the quiet, residential neighborhood, it's important to remember to be respectful and keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing the residents. This small detail adds to the tranquil and exclusive feel of the spot. Overall, Lookout Point @ Changkat Tunku is an excellent choice for a fireworks viewing experience. It's a great alternative to the crowded city centers, offering a more peaceful and comprehensive view that truly captures the magic of...

THE GOOD ‱ One of the few spots to see the bird-eye view of KL city skylines ‱ Popular spot for many photographers ‱ A number of parking spaces open for public visitors, both for cars and motorcycles

THE NOT-SO-GOOD ‱ Can get a bit crowded with visitors at times ‱ Location can be a bit tricky to find for first-time visitors

TIPS ‱ For public commuters, the closest metro station is LRT Bandaraya or KTM Bank Negara and ride Grab to reach here. Other alternative stations are MRT Muzium Negara and LRT PWTC ‱ Late evening, right before the arrival of dusk produces the best view imo with the red-ish orangey sheen from the sunset that starts glistening over KL skyscrapers. Of course, great weather is a must :D ‱ Don't forget to put down your camera for a minute and try to immerse yourself in the amazing view and atmosphere :] ‱ Since it's located outside of the mayor's house, be respectful and behave not to make any disturbance...

Love coming here on most weekends ~ at 12 noon! Hot and clear the sky and so quiet you can actually hear the sound of the wind blowing! And sound of insects in the background!
