I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a mangrove kayak tour with Xtreme Langkawi Mangrove Kayaking, and it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the beauty of the mangroves.

The tour guides at Xtreme Langkawi Mangrove Kayaking were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the mangrove ecosystem. They provided us with a wealth of information about the flora and fauna (Eagles, Monkeys, Fishes) that call this habitat home, making the tour both educational and enjoyable. Their expertise and love for nature shone through their engaging narratives, adding depth to the overall experience.

The kayaks provided by Xtreme Langkawi Mangrove Kayaking were well-maintained and comfortable, allowing us to navigate the narrow waterways with ease. The tour was well-paced, striking the perfect balance between exploration and relaxation. We meandered through the dense mangrove forests, marveling at the intricate root systems and the vibrant array of bird species above us. The serenity of the surroundings created a truly immersive atmosphere that made it easy to disconnect from the outside world and embrace the tranquility of nature. What sets Xtreme Langkawi Mangrove Kayaking apart is their commitment to eco-friendly practices. Throughout the tour, the guides emphasized the importance of preserving this delicate ecosystem. They actively promoted responsible tourism, ensuring that we left no trace behind and respected the natural environment. It was refreshing to see a company that genuinely cared about the sustainability of the mangroves.

I must also commend Xtreme Langkawi Mangrove Kayaking for their outstanding customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a remarkable experience. From the initial booking process to the end of the tour, they were organised, accommodating, and genuinely invested in our satisfaction.

If you're seeking an exhilarating and enriching adventure in the heart of nature, I highly recommend Xtreme Langkawi Mangrove Kayaking's mangrove kayak tour. Their commitment to providing an educational, eco-friendly, and unforgettable experience is truly commendable. Prepare to be mesmerized by the enchanting beauty of the mangroves and create memories that will...

Kayaking through one of the quiet and shaded channels of a mangrove forest, surrounded by arching aerial roots standing like stilts above the surface of the brackish waters, is quite a surreal experience. To add to the magical landscape, we also kayaked past sections of the river, where we were flanked by limestone cliffs with caves and ancient cycads growing from crevices in the walls. My family and I would like to express our thanks to Farly, our very passionate, experienced and friendly guide who led us safely and as deep as we could go, before the waterway became too narrow and shallow. Along our river journey, he pointed out not one but two mangrove vipers camouflaged on the branches of the mangrove trees. I was somewhat nervous about joining this trip initially, due to the venomous vipers... but I'm happy to report that we were in very safe hands! Farly briefed us on safety precautions at the start of the trip, and I felt at ease, as he led the way and ensured we maintained our distance while admiring the beautiful reptiles. We were also treated to sightings of eagles, fiddler crabs, mudskippers, moon jellyfish (harmless), and macaques. Our trip ended with a lovely meal, prepared by Farly's wife, where we happily devoured rice with tasty home-cooked style dishes of omelette, buttermilk chicken and mixed vegetables. All in all, this is a highly recommended tour for nature lovers who don't mind expending some energy to get up close and personal with a mangrove forest - while we kayaked a distance of about 6km, it really didn't feel like it, as we were having so much fun and making frequent stops to admire nature...

Our journey through the winding mangroves began with Farly, a guide who possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the lush, tangled ecosystem. Farly, once a flight attendant for Malaysia Airlines, has metamorphosed into a veritable mangrove maestro. His transition from the skies to the serene waters is not just a career shift but a manifestation of a deep-seated passion for the natural world.

From the outset, Farly’s enthusiasm is infectious. He regales us with tales of the mangrove's flora and fauna, each story imbued with a sense of wonder and reverence. His expertise is evident, yet it's his genuine interest in his guests that makes the experience truly special. Farly thrives on the cultural tapestry woven by the diverse travelers he meets.

For those weary of the passive nature of boat tours, Farly’s kayaking expedition offers a dynamic alternative. The thrill of paddling through the labyrinthine waterways is matched only by the discoveries along the way. At one point, Farly’s sharp eyes catch sight of a venomous snake, coiled serenely in a tree on the shoreline. It's a moment that encapsulates the raw, unfiltered connection to nature that his tours provide.

At 200 RM per person, the tour is a bargain, encompassing lunch, a boat ride, an entrance to the enigmatic bat cave, and a delectable meal upon our return. Farly’s mangrove kayaking tour is more than just an excursion; it’s an odyssey through a world teeming with life, guided by someone who lives and breathes the very essence of the mangroves. Highly recommended for those seeking both education and exhilaration in...

Best experience ever Kayaking in Mangrove with instructor Flarry who was informative. It might cost you on higher side compared to just mangrove boat tour without Kayaking but I highly recommend on opting Kayaking option as well because that's the unique and best experience you will get. Some tips: Carry sunglasses, hat and sunscreen. It would be good if you are wearing full covering clothes.
