A'Famosa Golf Resort — Local services in Malacca

Recently visited the golf course for a tournament on 25th December 2024, it wasn't quite a pleasant experience to be there . F&B - Food was ok , F&B staff were friendly & attentive & helpful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Changing / Locker Room - The Ladies Changing / Locker Room was under renovation , so had to use the temporary assign changing room . When i went to the temporary changing room, the door was locked / cant be open . So i went up to the Registration counter which has the Men’s Changing Room next to it and ask for assistance from the staff there . After i ask the staff to open the temporary ladies changing room door , the first question the staff asked me was - “Are You A Golfer Or Caddy “ and i answered, im here for the tournament as a player . The staff repeatedly asked me the same question for 3 times, and i answered the same to her . It makes me angry to be questioned that way for 3 times . It was just rude to be questioned that way . And not even an apology from the staff . Golf Course - Course Condition was at average only . The Green Speed was at 8-8.5 . Caddy - I understand that the club only has 5 resident caddies, so when there’s tournament, the club will have to outsource the caddies from outside the club . Here comes the problem with the outsourced caddies . They came in dressing up like as if they are the one playing golf there. Its good that some of them dressup properly & neatly , grooming was good too , But , if they are coming in to work as a caddy , they should be at least , wearing a caddy vest or plain white or black top . The caddy master or the club should have a system or rule on this issue .

From the point No 4 , then only i understand why the staff from the changing room kept on asking the same question. Hope from my honest review here , the club will make some...

...management for this golf.club need to do more stuffs i:e locals and international tournaments to attract more golfers and generate revenue for this golf club as as well to the resort...so this golf club will be still relevants base on my personal view not like few golf clubs i:e mines golf club & sungai long golf club and templer park golf club...you can feels the vibes if the golf club kinda dull like those 3 golf clubs since its established more than 2-3 decades ago...this golf club i'd sense haven't got that feels yet (don't want to upgrade at all) regardless its has been established more or close than 2-3 decades ago...whatever it is...try not to stay at one of the apartment 'round this vicinity..i'd experienced once when stay one night one of the apartment...durin' at night time when all of us sleeps inside bedrooms...after midnite all the sudden t.v at the livin' switch on by itself and the volumen goes high!...👻..luckily for us we just played here and no overnight stay otherwise it would be somethin' to...

no respond from club on whatapps and phone call for 2 days when we want to make booking. finally walk in and they gave us a course that is under renovation with fairway and bunkers all dug up. totally unplayable. than battery on both buggies ran flat and it took 3 phone calls and 1 hour later before the show up. return after a frustration day at buggy shed but caddy will not unload our bags until we gave them money. there no towel in the shower. u need to buy their towels. however nobody was there to attend to you even if u want to pay. shower has no hot water even the cold water comes out in trickle. cant wait to get out of this place.dont think I m...
