Sad place and very expensive tickets for “attractions” inside. “Mini Zoo” is nothing but poor rabbits being in metal cages, they called it rabbit hotel. Should be called prison not hotel. There’s no bedding provided. Poor things will be cold. Next to it was cat hotel, slightly better that the cats were allowed to roam and do as they please with typical setup for loving cat homes. But domesticated cats aren’t zoo animals. Felt like crying looking at the pitiful rabbits. Uve heard of cage chickens, these were cage rabbits. They weren’t packed like sardines but if u know rabbits, they like to hop around to move about. Can’t do that in cages! We asked a worker at the Secret Garden waaaaaay up the hill where is the mini zoo, he said he didn’t know. Then another worker says it’s down the hill. So we walked all the way down but didn’t see any other sign which could point us in the right direction. Had to walk over to the counter selling love locks and wishing ribbons way on the other side because there weren’t any staff seen from the Secret Garden till we reached the bottom. Passed the animal “hotel”/prison, mini Santorini, cactus farm n other instag areas, not a single sight of a worker. The staff said up the hill!!! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Luckily I’m fit inuf to race up the hill to check but to find it’s the animal hotel. Then went back down to ask the earlier staff where the llama is and was told it’s after the bird sanctuary. Where’s the proper signage or map for ppl to look and find? There was only 1 llama and 2 sheep 😅🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ these are all the supposed animals in mini zoo! Another complain is their signs are lacking and unclear. No signs where the exits are located. The scones sold were dry and very sweet. Unhealthy! Only thing good I would say are the flowers were in full bloom and there were a lot of it. But to pay RM25 to enter, not worth the money. For sure there’s a lot of fertilisers used. Again not good and unhealthy. Bird sanctuary is not bad too, most of the birds are far away except the parrots n birds that u can feed so they fly to u. Better to spend ur money to visit Zoomania, don’t waste it to enter this place. We didn’t bother about the shops selling veggies fruits and whatever else, better elsewhere. Food stalls also not in operation today. Agro is closed a few days!!! Maybe that’s how they hook u in with free parking. Can’t imagine ppl had to also pay for parking last time to be disappointed. We only came here as we had a 6yo that wanted to see llamas and more other animals after visiting Zoomania in the morning. Sadly she was fully disappointed after having to climb up and down so many steep steps. Zoomania has more gentle slope, better in many ways except a lot of beautiful flowers and instagramable areas. But I think their animals interactions is sooo much better than static flowers for pix n experience. The Le Petite Cafe….. better go to kopitiam and drink there.
