Viligili island is a former resort island that was destroyed by the tsunami and now is accesible for visiting and having a sunbath and picnik and swimming. Sadly the island is still full of garbage (although they cleaned more then half of what it looked like in march when we were last time there). But near the dock you have a beautiful piece of jungle with lots of coconut trees, a clean beach and shallow waters to relax. Going along the beach on the right side (not looking to some garbage piles wich will also dissapear in the next months) you get to the "shark point" at the edge of the reef where most of the times you can see lots of 30-40 cm long baby reef sharks playing and learning to feed chasing small fish in the shallow waters or attacking them in the waves.
