Bought a couch around April 2023 and paid 50% as down payment and was told that delivery will be in 20 weeks. 19 weeks has passed (End of August 2023) and we called to update for the delivery. We were informed that unfortunately they cannot deliver it on time as there has been a refurbishment in their factory but instead they will deliver by October. We became upset as it seems that salespeople were not trained to deal with such cases like this and they cannot open their mouth to enlighten us of what really happened, and insisted that they have called us to be informed when in fact there was no correspondence made at all. We were aggravatedly upset when their Manager refused to talk to us face to face but instead he/she will just call us. Call was received and they said there's nothing they can do to at least compensate with the delay, so we asked them to give us the money back but instead they have challenged us to report it in consumers. We did not report it as we were foreigners and we thought that there's no sense of bringing it to court or something, we just needed a couch. We let it pass and waited for October. Not even a single call was received from them. So on 17th October 2023, we went to their store for another update but again they said to wait by mid November. They couldn't even have the time to call their customers for apologies who were waiting for such a long time. Not even a cup of coffee or water was offered when we were there. We bought a sofa in October 2024 and the leg was damaged on delivery which they came and fixed. Last week my husband was standing next to the sofa and put his hand on the armrest to lean on it. This broke the armrest! The sofa only has 6 months guarantee (which should have hinted at it's durability). The guarantee runs out in April however this company are not accepting this claim and have advised us to bring the part into the showroom where we will be charged 100eur to fix it as it is not a manufacturing error!
How can an arm rest being broken by someone resting their arm on it not be a manufacturing error? How can they be sure that the arm rest was not slightly damaged on their delivery and it has now totally given away? We know the delivery was not smooth sailing already!

Skip to April 2024 the sofa arrived after 7 months. No one calls to update you that it’s gonna be delayed, you have to call each month to check if it arrived or not. In the end we managed to find couple people who gave us some relevant information regarding our sofa, but overall it is very disappointing that you’re told a specific time frame and it doubles in time without any notice. To top it all off we were told by the delivery person that they’re coming at 1:30pm and proceeded to come at 4:30pm instead, making our high up permit invalid since it expired at 4pm.
