Me and my wife visited here today it was great to learn a bit about the stray dog problem on Mauritius, and it's great to learn what the guys at Happy Tails do to help counter the issue. This is a great cause, and everyone who goes along for a visit is helping keep these dogs and bring some back from the brink of serious illness and accident. The more dogs they can manage to adopt out to loving families, the more they can bring in and help. Some of the dogs are naturally timid and need time to learn to love. Many are ready for their loving forever homes. Pop along today and meet your new best friend. Also, no matter where in the world you are from, if you go and fall in love, these guys can organise to get your dog back home to you. Nathalie is amazing, both the work she does education wise, and the care she gives to all her dogs is out of this world . You can either say hi and help with a donation, or adopt . The dogs are all incredibly healthy, given their background, and happy. Mauritius is a beautiful island and has many wild and majestic places to visit, but if you have the opportunity to drive around the area, go check the sanctuary out, you never know, your best buddy might be waiting...

The dogs live contentedly in packs in separate large enclosures, with a large playing field for exercise. They all adore amd listen to Samantha, she knows every one of the 125 dogs' names and their personalities. They are well cared for and certainly well fed. All are available for adoption to safe loving homes. The charity relies entirely on donations, so by visiting, you are helping a really good cause...
