Pleasant and clean mall Just 5 kilometres from Flic en Flac and plenty of cafes and eating places. It is pleasant and well kept. The Winners supermarket is large and cheaper than others in central Flic en Flac. I like this mall this was nice mall, i went there few times. they have nice food court, some shops, and great supermarket. it is not near the flic an flac, so u have to use bus or taxi. If you take a bus and if you are staying in Flic en Flac at one of the lovely Resorts like the Hilton, Sugar Beach or the Sofitel and you want to go to go to a regular Western shopping mall, then Cascavelle Shopping Village is your answer. But instead of taking a taxi - take the local bus. The Flic en Flac bus depot is just next to the Hilton (it looks like a big parking lot). The locals are very friendly and very helpful and you will pay only a few dollars (rather than the quoted 1200 rupee for a round trip). The buses seem to run every 15 minutes. The shopping mall is a lovely bright open area mall with a Woolworths (similar to a Marcs and Spencers), a large supermarket, an art gallery, 2 optometrists, a sporting goods store, a range of clothes stores and a fabulous food court. There is also a small water park for children. There is one touristy type store with a range of items - beware of the prices because when I picked up an item to find its price (and nearly fell over at the exorbitant price) and quickly returned it to its shelf, the shop assistant said that she could offer me a...

I went to other MCB branches where the stupid requirements of this one, was not neccesarry to complete and the service was better, faster and staff much more helpful.
MCB Cascavelle simply offers the worst, time-consuming service of ANY bank in EMEA. MCB should shutdown this poorly operated Cascavelle branch. I guess it's a different experience, if one are a VIP client.
I've been a Client of MCB since 2008, I have always dreaded going there, for the must need physical banking, impossible to book for this, as no one knows 3 weeks in advance that they need to go there. So minimum time at this branch per client is measured in hours not minutes. Terrible experience everytime...
Read moreWe came to this shopping centre two times during our trip. On the first day we arrived late so most of shops were already closed. But we tried their Korean restaurant kogi kogi and mc Donald’s there. We saw that there was a bowling arena. The washrooms there are also clean. The next day we came in the afternoon. There were tried some Indian chats which were really bad. Next we tried one veg taco which was awesome. We also tried panini from artisan coffee which was also delicious. We also did shopping at woolworths which is an African brand and body and soul. We also checked out the book shop and miniso, all shops were good. There was an Indian woman selling some Indian sweets. It’s a great place to hangout with friends and families. Great place to visit...
