Our son in law from uk came to Mauritius and we booked the Anahita Golf and Spa Resort for 6 of us. We pre booked the golf course for him to use the first morning we were there ( there for 3 nights only). The staff at anahita and the golf course were so helpful and organised the booking for us. He thoroughly enjoyed it and was given a cart all to himself to use which made completing the 18 hole course much quicker than he would normally have taken with walking. Anahita, although they also offer hotel accommodation to tourists, they are an Integrated Resort Scheme (IRS) where most people who reside there are Xpats, having invested over $500,000 to obtain their fiscal domination, by residing in Mauritius for over 183 days for the first 2 years, thereafter 90 days per annum. With this scheme, you are granted a "permanent” residence for 3 years, thereafter renewable every 10 years, if you still own the property...
