The most & highly overrated place to shop. Lines at the register are extensively long during rush hours. The very limited pay point service is horribly slow at every store. There are many places, where your purchases are checked & checked again as one exits the store. It's easier to cross the border between the US & Mexico than to enter a Costco store. LOL Highly unorganized. It is difficult to find someone to assist. Most employees can't help you locate anything. Most claim it isn't their department, so you are on your own. I found prices of certain items to be higher than Walmart. Especially, the electronic items. Which are also limited by brand name. The store claims that you save. Sure you do & what you save is what you end up paying in membership fee. If you aren't a frequent buyer. It is extremely impossible to find anything that isn't packaged for a household of 15 or above. Food containers are sized for giants only. The pizza is horribly greasy & unfit for any human consumption at the food service corridor. The lines are always a kilometer long. The wait time is so long, that one can actually drop dead before they can purchase any food at the food court. The soft drink fountain only produces carbonation, which is why soda is free with the hot dog. Not enough seating available for dining. Overall not a place to shop for small families or individuals. Yet people flock to the store as if the world was under a nuclear attack & that particular day, may probably be just the last day to shop. Limited parking is available in contrast to the amount of shoppers that frequent the store. The good thing is, there is gasoline service available for all those who are going in circles & eventually run out of fuel searching for a...

Redoing my Review after a couple years now:
Okay so Costco use to be great experience (especially pre Covid) but this no longer seems to be the case... But this is the kind of thing that usually happens in Latin American economy's.
I've been having bad experiences everytime I go like last time in which I was accused of stealing a used Adidas hat that I was wearing (which was dirty). I mean come on!?! How can can ur employee's not know the difference between a dirty used hat and s new one or at least ask first instead of accusing...
Second time around I was accused of not being the cardholder... What?!?... Please ask first instead of accusing... But like I said, this is the kinda of thing that usually happens here in Mexico. Corruption to the point where it gets to their heads. Costco World Headquarters we need ur help bc I know Costco's true Customer Values...
Read moreI love Costco in the states but here in Mexico the biggest downside was the amount of people in the store. The checkout lines were almost to the back of the store and it was hard to navigate because you are guaranteed to run into other customers and squeeze by. Some prices seem kind of expensive here in mexico and they don’t have the same variety of cakes/pies. I love the pizza and pre prepared food like pasta. The fruits were fresh and they had berries blueberries(something I never find...
