MAJOR WARNING The lead claims are 100% true, i read those reviews prior to my trip there, i was conflicted after reading another reviewer claim those aren't all true, we purchased around 10 pieces of pottery, green, orange, and black.
All of the green / orange pottery has lead in it, i thank the original reviewers for warning us, because 100% me and my family would've used them without second thought.

Here you can find different styles and designs of barro verde and barro rojo, that are typical for the region. What cought my attention the most, were the beautiful lamps and vases... I appreciated seeing a variety of pieces (vs the same standardized ones in the touristy shops of the Oaxaca center), and they packed them well for us so they travel safely.
