Antioch Church — Local services in San Miguel de Allende

I spent about 5 months in San Miguel in 2019. In my search for a vibrant biblical church I found Antioch Church and I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately my espanol is quite limited, but to my delight the singing and the messages were presented in both Spanish and English. If you are searching for a place to worship God with fellow believers, then this is it. While there is no “perfect church,” there are churches where God’s gathered people come together and His Holy Spirit is evident. Antioch Church in SMA is one such place. Wonderful Church Experience!

We had a truly beautiful experience at this church. The worship was inspiring and heartfelt, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We loved the diverse congregation, with a great mix of Spanish and English speakers, which made everyone feel included and appreciated. Antioch Church claims Christ as Lord, but in practice promotes Once Saved Always Saved theology. Leadership flat-out refuses to discuss whether obedience to Christ is necessary for salvation and will ask you to leave for pressing the issue. When I disagreed respectfully, the response was unexpectedly intense and made me uncomfortable. This is not a spiritually healthy environment for believers seeking Biblical accountability or honest theological dialogue.
