Ghita is such a nice person! I went to her cooking class yesterday and we spent a great time together with her daughter. We prepared a Tagine Vegetarienne and some fried cauliflower, as desert we had the Crêpes de Milles Trous.

The most enjoyable part was the talking. Ghita is a local native and shares her first hand experience as a Moroccan wife with you. I learned so much about family life and especially life of a women.

Today, we decided to go to the public Hamam together. Again, this is a great experience. There's no comparison to the European version of a Hamam, it's very hands-on, you hang out and chat with the neighbors while washing, brushing, scrubbing yourself or the person next to you. Hygienic standard is also totally different. Anyhow, I felt completely safe and now I feel very clean and have the skin of a little baby.

La signora Ghita e suo figlio Houssam sono molto gentili, ti danno la possibilità di entrare nella loro quotidianità e sono disponibili a seguire le possibili richieste; noi per esempio desideravamo cucinare il cous cous, abbiamo preparato inoltre un contorno di melanzane chiamato zaalok e poi un dolce. Tutto viene preparato insieme nella cucina della loro casa, sotto la guida attenta di Ghita, come in una giornata di festa in famiglia. Dopo aver cucinato, anche se era presto per i loro orari, abbiamo mangiato tutti insieme bevendo un buon the verde e artemisia, non menta perché gennaio non è la stagione giusta - da questi dettagli si capisce anche l'originalità dell'esperienza - conversando sulle nostre culture e di come è importante quando si viaggia conoscere la realtà del luogo. Sopratutto in un contesto familiare come questo. Super consigliato #cookingclass...
