POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE....ABSOLUTE CROOKS

I have just left Nikki Beach after celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. We were greeted in entry by two unwelcoming bouncers. We were allocated two beds in the fairly empty venue and were given a drinks menu. We sat, was swam and we had a few drinks (which were extremely overpriced!).

As we were leaving we were given a bill which included and additional 600 dhms. This was not once stated throughout the 4 hours we spent there, even after plenty of interactions with the waiter.....After explaining this to the waiter he was very rude and insulting. I was shocked as I have never been spoken to in such manner in my entire life. The manager was then called to sort the issue out and he was 10 times worse. He was clearly intimidated by my size as he commented 'you think it's because you are big'...This completely threw me off but let me know he was clearly insecure, has a poor level of customer service, and trained his staff to follow his poor example....

After spoiling my poor girlfriends birthday, he went even further by stating he will lock us in the building all night until a family member from home sends us money for the bill.....

We even went to the bouncer who greeted us on the way in hoping he would be honest and tell his boss that he didn't state that the price of the bed to us. The idiot shamelessly looked me in the eye and lied. He was adamant that he told us, when he barely said a word. Just 'Bonjour'.

This ordeal became very embarrassing for us as it wasn't much money, but merely the principle the we were not told. After being surrounded but more than 10 members of their security we were forced to pay the bill and were escorted out like criminals....and it didn't stop there.....we were further conned by their taxi drivers outside the venue!!!

WE WILL NEVER EVER VISIT ANY NIKKI BEACH BASED ON THIS SHOCKING EXPERIENCE.....I WOULD ADVISE THAT NOBODY ELSE...

Nikki Beach Marrakech could be a great example of one of the NB brand beach/club/bars if it weren't for some of the really rookie level mistakes they make with service.

I visited NBM on two consecutive days Sat/Sun where the weather was pretty overcast (though warm) and there were no more than 50 people in the entire place - yet - on both occasions (the first especially) food took forEVER. As an example, we ordered some very simple food, toast with avocado and tuna, fruit salad, tuna ceviche and waited almost an HOUR. Then, there is the fact that this is not one environment, it is multiple, probably to manage tips, so the bar is separate to the restaurant, which means, you get more than one bill, something we found out after asking for the bill, PAYING it, while having a chat with the staff, and then being chased by members of the waiting team (literally) as we left as they then produced ANOTHER bill for a different part of the business.

I'm not gonna talk about the fact I heard the same tracks in sequence on both days despite there being a DJ on the decks. Nor about the utterly rubbish milky Colada mocktail that I needed to complain about to get a proper one.

The environment. Great. The food (when it arrived). Pretty damn good. The prices. Overpriced for sure, but I mean, you are going to get good quality stuff. The friendliness of the staff. Not bad, only one guy with his continual whistling behind our head when what he considered good tunes coming on was annoying. Avoid this place and go spend your money somewhere else. I have been to many Nikki Beach all over the world and I always enjoyed it. Marrakech is just a no go spot. Our hotel made the reservation 3 days prior. First if all the hoststess at the door need to learn some manners. She couldn't find our reservation for a while,we actually did. We had to wait 10min to get to our bed which was reserved prior. 3000 dirham min spend that's fine. Problem is that service is non existing. If you know that weekend is full don't go under staffed,very simple. To order anything is a mission. That also means you will not be able to reach the min spend. Funny enough ..they were two ladies on the sun bed next to us. No min spend for them required. We waited for fruit salad one hour,finally decided to leave. Waiter brought the bill. We were charged for fruits which we never received. Then the problem was that we didn't reach the min spend. How we suppose to do that if nobody attends to our sunbed? We purchased another bottle of wine to take it with to reach the 3k. For me the place is nice ,but staff needs training and be more efficient. They spend too much focus on big group/spenders. The rest of the guests is non existing. Also 80 % of guests were men...Vibe is ok,but no dancers as in other clubs and...
