If want to climb Mt Toubkal you must do it with Mustapha and his team. His very quick response and reassuring emails were the reason I book with him, I wasn't disappointed. Our guide Brahim was excellent, hugely experienced (this was his 66th ascent) friendly and we felt safe and well looked after at all times. Mt Toubkal Day 1 - Marrakech to Basecamp (Monday 21 Mar). This is a mountain peak standing at 4,167 metres, it is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco, and North Africa and second in the African continent ️. Day 1 - Mustapha organised a taxi (all included) from Marrakech @ 466m elevation and travelled to Imllil @1800m. From here a small team of like minded trekkers (John, Donatas, Victor) were led zigzagging through numerous valleys with Berber villages by our guide Brahim absorbing the culture and views. Here we walked for approx 4.5hrs and gained the high altitude to 3206m and snowline of the Toukbal Refuge and basecamp and stop for the night. This first day had direct comparisons with Nepalese tea houses, Sherpas, toilets, beds etc. Day 2 - Mt Toubkal Day 2 - Basecamp to Summit and back to Imlil. (Tues 22 Mar). Summit day and up at 0330 hrs, attach crampons and issued our ice axes followed by a short drill on how to use (if falling off the edge). We left for the summit at 0430 in the piched dark instantly feeling not only the coldness but also the altitute. The climbing would be ziggaging through the mountains from Base Camp @3206m to the top of Mt Toubkal @4267m (14000ft). To give you an idea of the pitch we would cover just short of 1000m in ascent in about 2.5km over 2.5 hrs, due to being steep and energy sapping. The winds were picking up but as we reached the summit, the 360° views where stunning. On submitting we had 25 minutes at the top for photos and then head back down to basecamp for breakfast. We then head to complete the first day again, from Basecamp to Imlil, before departing back to Marrakech, along day with 14.5 miles covered in 9 hrs. An immense trip to have completed but I have to say I firmly believe one of, if not the hardness things also. Thank you Mustapha and Brahim for giving me life long memories.

We took the 2day trek package from Marrakech-Imlil-Base Camp-Toubkal summit. Communication with the company was excellent, they answered all our questions prior to the trip via email and responded Quickly. We were Picked up on time as arranged from our hotel & throughly enjoyed the journey to Imlil through the mountains that are simply stunning and like a perfect postcard picture. Hassan was our guide, he was absolutely incredible, super helpful, attentive and caring. We managed to communicate with some English, Spanish and Arabic and of course google translate. He made every effort to understand our needs and was very polite, happy and friendly. This was our second time in the Atlas Mountains and again the people were warm, friendly and hospitable more than anywhere we have travelled before. The people can not help you enough and the customer service is really outstanding. The trek was super, some challenging scrambles but very clear and safe routes. Hassan was patient and kept checking in with us and offering us breaks and photo opportunities. The scenery is something else up there, so beautiful and mesmerising. Base camp was great, again the staff up there really accommodating and helpful. The meals throughout were fresh and plentiful. We would absolutely recommend this company and will certainly use them again in future. Many Thanks for everything Hassan and your team.

I recently completed a 2-day trek with Toubkal Trekking, and it was an unforgettable experience. The team at Toubkal Trekking was professional, knowledgeable, and made every effort to ensure that our trek was safe, enjoyable, and memorable.

From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and provided with all the necessary equipment and information for the trek. My guide, Mustapha was incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and made sure we were well-informed about the trek ahead.

The trek itself was challenging, but with our guide’s support and encouragement, we could reach the summit of Toubkal and take in the stunning panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. The overnight stay in the refuge was also a high light, with autentic Moroccan food and cosy accommodations.

Overall, I highly recommend Toubkal Trekking for anyone looking to experience the beauty and adventure of the Atlas Mountains. Their attention to detail, safety, and exceptional customer service made for an unforgettable trekking experience. Thank you, Toubkal Trekking, for a...
