I will divide my review in pros and cons and tips Cons

  1. The local guide in Chefchaouen was a youth who did not know ANYTHING about the local history - he only knew photo spots in the village This is purely a result of most tourists going there to get nice blue hued pictures to post on social media - nothing wrong with that - but there are still millions of tourists who are interested in the history of the place.
  2. They can take a better route consisting of more highway sections but I am not sure why they take the less maintained regional roads from Rabat to Chefchaouen It is actually quite far to satisfactorily visit as a day trip. A better option would be to stay there over night and leave the next evening or so.
  3. Definitely overpriced for what you get in return Pros
  4. Chefchaouen itself is worth a visit
  5. Our driver was very friendly besides being good at his job and we had some good conversations with him

Tips: Make sure you email a lot back and forth and have everything in writing and clearly mentioned - what will be covered, what won't be. Ask a million questions. Carry a print out of the emails with you. Keep all the numbers handy. And make sure you speak at least broken French or Arabic or...

My mom, sister, and I recently visited Fes, Marrakech, and the Sahara. The car was very spacy and had air conditioning. Walid was our driver. He is an amazing driver (I felt very safe in the car with him driving.), makes plenty of rest stops for things like bathroom and coffee breaks, lunches, and photo ops as well as exploring places along the way. He is also very knowledgeable about both Berber and Moroccan history, culture, trades, food, traditional festivals and clothing, and geography. He is very friendly and kind as well. For example, when he heard I wanted to buy little bottles to put sand from the Sahara in as a souvenir he found a good place to buy them for a decent price and even collected some sand in a water bottle for me and my sister. Then, when we found out that I had booked a CTM bus for 2:00 am instead of 2:00 pm (having gotten confused because of military time being the standard here) he still stood by his offer to take us to the CTM station in Marrakech. Overall, great experience!...

Our tour was absolutely brilliant, easily the best tour I've ever been on. I was looking to go to Paradise Valley as I had seen on youtube how amazing it looked.

I thought about just renting a car and going myself but I'm so glad I didn't and went with Trek Morocco Desert instead. Mhand our tour guide knew exactly where to go and where to stop for the best views of the Atlas Mountains and Paradise Valley. We got to stop on the way when we needed the bathroom or to look at some of the local shops around the valley.

We had lunch with a traditional Berber family with food from their own land which was amazing and had an great views.

We got to see a women cooperative that makes honey, oil and other Moroccan products.

I'd definitely recommend anyone who wants to go to Paradise Valley to go with Trek Morocco Desert as they give you the real Morocco and meet such...
