Itâs not easy getting to Mamaâs, although the trip there â via car and speed boat - was half the fun.||I had no real idea what to expect, but the first sighting of Mamaâs, a glorious lodge overlooking the sea, was a terrific first impression.||I piled in with several mates and their daughters for a fun long weekend. Rooms were cosy and well appointed with an appreciation of the islandâs natural surroundings. There was tons of space and with the kitchen open and central, this became a natural hive of activity. The lodge is perfect for entertaining and socialising, with ample space and comfort, whether we were sitting around the massive iron wood table or at the outdoor area with its welcoming fireplace.||With running water and electricity, plus comfortable beds and clean and inviting bathroom areas, the lodge was both luxurious and practical.
