Mandalay Hill offers a fantastic experience with breathtaking views, especially at sunset. You can go up by taxi or walk, which takes around 25-30 minutes. It’s worth arriving at least half an hour before sunset to enjoy the scenery and spend some time meditating in the hilltop sanctuary. The walking route passes through several shrines, so wearing shoes that are easy to take on and off is a good idea.

There are a LOT of stairs and just when you think you are at the top – there are even more! Its not that bad, along they way you have different view points of Mandalay.
