Tatopani (in Nepali it means "hot water") is a famous place for it's hot springs, next to center of the village and beside Kali Gandaki river. Place very popular among trekkers following the trail around Annapurna (Annapurna Circuit) and Poon Hill Trek, as it is on the way. Great place to chill and take a rest. There are two pools with warm and very warm water (around 44C), the surrounding might be more clean, as I encountered ladies changing rooms smelly with the urine:/ this is the reason I rate 4*. Although the water is clean and pools are too, so no worries, ererybody changes clothes under the towel beside the pool anyway. Notice: Local Thakali woman take a bath in long red shawls, knee-long. They prey before ablution. Their shoulders are uncovered. It is strongly recommended for European women to not wear a bikini, cause it's disrespectful and you will encounter stares. I wore t-shirt and bikini pants and was OK, however I felt strange with all legs uncovered. Take light pareo, it will be perfect. Read moreWeather you are tired of walking or you shaked up a bit too much on drive, nothing feels more relaxing once you dip your leg or body inside nice warm water. Natural hot springs, well managed. Must go!! Don't forget water to drink to keep you hydrated!! P.S if you're mobile is not water resistant.. better keep it safe at the lodge or hande it to someone who take better care off coz you don't wanna ruin you memories that you have taken or will be taken.
