This is our second time requesting a cake from Amor Kitchen, truly one of Amsterdamā€™s best kept secrets. The first time was our ube and red velvet wedding cakes two years ago that weā€™re still dreaming of. Our friends still bring up these cakes every time we get nostalgic about the wedding. This time, we asked for the dream cakes in a tin for my husbandā€™s 40th birthday party. These dream cakes are basically 9 servings each of a moist, gooey brownie cake bliss with a semi-hard chocolate layer on top that needs its own fan club. Multiple guests demanded more and asked where we got the cakes from and it was so much fun to point to Alvin and say the same amazing baker of our wedding did it again with the birthday cakes. Alvin, you dessert sorcerer, thank you for helping to make the party such a success!

Ordered Amor Kitchen's famous ensaymada. Received it today. It's so soft and the flavors are yummy. Red Velvet, Ube, Oreo, Caramel, and my personal favorite... Cookies and Cream. Amor Kitchen made my partner's birthday celebration very memorable with not just one, but 4 cakes. His red velvet cake is soft and moist. His leche flan and ube cake is a two-in-one winner. His ube cake in a can has an ube halaya layer that is simply divine. His bibingka gave us Christmas feels in February. We just had to try everything even if there were only the four of us. Thank you so much for making my partner's special day extra special.

We were visiting Amsterdam for the weekend and I came across Amor Kitchen's website. I put in an order at fairly short notice but Alvin was quick to respond and kindly accommodated my request. I ordered the Monggo bread, Ube and Oreo Ensaymada and Vanilla Mamon. It was all well packaged and super delicious! I had mentioned to Alvin that it was my birthday. As a special surprise, he also prepared a small Ube birthday cake for me. This was so generous and completely unexpected. Would highly recommend Amor Kitchen for tasty Filipino treats and excellent customer service!

Really the best ensaymada and filipino baked goods in Amsterdam. The ensaymada is the best you will find here in Amsterdam, it is how it should be: fluffy, light, the topping is generous and tastes like in Philippines.

I have tried other bakeries in Ams that sell it and itā€™s never been as good as these!

The lecheflan ensaymada is also just AMAZING! Never had that combo before but it was just divine! I wasnā€™t sure what to expect, but it was beautiful textures and delicious taste.

The ube cheese pandesal (thank you for including it!!!) was delicious and everything was so moreish.

definitely going to order here again...
