Beauty Sauna Peize — Local services in Noordenveld

Avoid this place! We were really looking forward to spending a day here but it was a real disappointment. There are quite a few saunas and pools, that's the only good thing I can say. Sadly they are quite dirty. Pools are dirty, the wooden headrest in some saunas literally have black mould and in the infrasauna you can see thick layers of dust in the racks. Eeuw. There is only one drinking fountain and it is never cleaned, you see absolutely no staff walking around to check if anything needs to be cleaned. Let's not even mention the state of the toilets...At 17.00 you could see on the list it was last cleaned at 11.00. When leaving we got charged 26 euros for 2 soft drinks. Upon checking the receipt it turned out that the two 'entrance including sandwich' tickets we had booked got ignored and they put the one of the pre-paid dishes on as extra (we chose from the correct list). When we pointed this out and complainied, the woman in front desk said there was nothing to be done as we have 'accepted the receipt' and we can get a voucher for next time at best. She was rude and 2 other couples complained about her just after us. Guess who doesn't need a voucher as there will be...

I spent a nice evening at the sauna with a 30% off entry offer. I stayed for a couple of hours and mainly explored the indoors area. A range of different saunas, and nice pool to cool down with whirpool to the side. The lady at reception was very welcoming, and didn't push me to purchase add-ons (e.g., she told me I didn't need to rent a bathrobe, unless I was planning to go inside the restaurant area).

All-in-all, a good experience. It's just a shame that visitors to the centre are so loud and irrespectful of others, as there was a constant noise of loud chattering. Despite many signs that invite "stilte" - unfortunately, many people love the sound of their own voices... it's a shame as it diminished my experience. It might be the kind of people that visit on a "badkledingdag", not sure. Worth to try it again on...

Even though facilities were nice, overall experience was not pleasant:

1. Once I made reservation online, it was not indicated how much I would have to pay extra when leaving SPA
2. Due to special circumstances, we had to leave SPA after 2 hours of our visit, and we could not have lunch. Very upsetting that we could not reimburse money for lunch which we could not attend. In the end we ended up paying € 83 for 2 hours without attending lunch which was a total rip off.
3. Staff was neither informative nor helpful. A women at the front desk did not say how much was to rent bathrobe and slippers once she was giving that to us. Furthermore, people at the front desk did not smile and communicated rudely. Customer...
