Chili time — Local services in Soest

DO NOT EAT IN THIS RESTAURANT. Bad food and worst service ever. Similar experiences are described in other reviews, so the bad food and service is consistent.

We asked about the ingredients of the dishes and they replied impolitely. We were instructed to order first the first dishes and then the second, as if we were kids. Then we asked for plates to share food and the waitress asked us to stay calm, after she bought the food to the table she said “now i can bring the plates you understand? ”. She went on to say that we were disrespectful (for asking for some plates?!?).

The food took a long time to serve, and it does not taste like Thai food at all, worse still the ingredients were not even fresh.

Honestly we just wanted to leave and a great dinner with friends was ruined.

Never coming back even if it was for free.

I have only posted 5 stars reviews with the objective of helping other users to find great places. But this restaurant is just outrageous and I wish no one will have...

Last evening I visited the restaurant with some of my friends and it was really a disappointing experience. I found the behaviour of the waitress to be rude and unprofessional, which detracted us from our dining experience.

Throughout the meal, the waitress spoke to us in a condescending tone and appeared to be dismissive of our requests. At one point of time she even yelled at one of us for just requesting an additional plate.

As a customer, I believe that it is important for restaurant staff to provide a high level of service that makes customers feel welcomed and appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience with you did not meet these expectations.

I hope that the management of the restaurant will take this feedback and work towards improving the quality of service provided to its customers in the future.

I am not going to visit this restaurant again nor am I going to recommend to...

We zitten ondertussen 50 minuten in het restaurant. Er zijn nog 3 andere tafels bezet (in totaal zitten er 10 mensen in het restaurant). 15 minuten geleden is eindelijk onze bestelling opgenomen. Mensen die na ons binnenkwamen, werden voor ons geholpen. De ober rent van de ene naar de andere kant van het restaurant, maar als hij langs onze tafel rent krijgen we constant de boodschap: “ik kom zo bij u!” wat hij pas na vele andere handelingen daadwerkelijk doet. We hebben nog geen eten gezien en ik heb nu al besloten een recensie te schrijven, want dit heb ik echt nog nooit meegemaakt. Voor de slechte start van deze ervaring geef ik dan ook maar 1 luttele ster. Mocht het eten deze chaos waard zijn, dan zal ik de recensie wellicht nog aanpassen.

EDIT: we hebben het probleem aangekaart bij de ober en vervolgens zijn excuses en een drankje van de zaak gekregen. Op het eten in absoluut niks aan te merken. Absoluut goed authentiek Thais eten! Ik vraag me wel af hoe het restaurant loopt wanneer het daadwerkelijk druk is, maar het zou kunnen dat de desbetreffende ober pas is begonnen en dus nog lerende is. Na de maaltijd is de manager nog aan tafel geweest en hebben we een digestief aangeboden gekregen. Een nette afhandeling van de situatie en daarom mijn beoordeling aangepast van 1...
