International Criminal Court (ICC) disproportionately targets leaders from poorer nations, particularly in Asia and Africa, while appearing ineffective when it comes to pursuing powerful individuals from Western countries or certain Arab states accused of severe crimes against humanity. These concerns have led to questions about the institution’s credibility and consistency.
