Jerald and team did a fantastic job moving our furniture. Communication was excellent, service with a smile. When I realised our insurer Tower Rural did not want to provide transit cover Jerald arranged for cover. But .... wait for the delivery ...

We moved furniture in Feb 2024 from Northland to Christchurch into storage and on inspection in around Apr 2024 we notified Jerald that his team packed the light duty boxes at the bottom and heavy weight ones on top. Any experienced moving person should know this. The delivery team did a very poor job, we suffered extensive damage. We moved the boxes ourselves in the past week (mid Sep 2024). Bent metal in printer, broken pot handles, lots of glass items broken, the damage we suffered is at least a few thousand dollars. To say the least we are deeply disappointed in the unprofessional duty of care by the movers who unpacked our boxes here in Christchurch. There is video coverage of how the delivery crew handled the boxes. The boxes were dropped and thrown, we are really sad to see some items we've had for many years broken. Sadly we cant recommend Jerald from NZ Home Movers LTD (JTL).

Shockingly unprofessional. Cancelled my booking via Wise Move as Jerald couldn't grasp he had two Trade Me parties to confirm collection and delivery with. His communication to me was curt and unprofessional. He just couldn't be bothered, even stating he'd make contact with the second party over the upcoming weekend 'when it suited him'. Oh Jerald, if only we could all do our jobs when it suited ourselves! Referred to Wise Move who agreed that his response was regrettable and promised to review, while promoting my ad as 'featured' for free by way as an apology. His nasty and inappropriate feedback about me was removed from Wise Move. Says it all really. Booked my job through Marc on Wise Move and he was so friendly...
