Pizza Landing — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

The pizza's are good but definitely not worth dealing with the owners - placed an honest review on fb some months ago to complain about the business being shut on numerous occasions, over a period of several months, during advertised open hours (and NOT over the xmas period as he claims). Since then there have been petty, strange and downright creepy comments incorrectly citing a personal connection to their business made by the owners. Interestingly they have now created a new FB page so these comments no longer appear. I wish this owner would take on board constructive criticism in a manner that improves his business instead of actively attempting to make personal connections that simply dont exist, and thus effectively ignoring valid customer concerns. Still no acknowledgement or resolution what so ever to date of the initial issue! Interestingly a friend of mine the the exact same issue months later; the business was again randomly closed! That an owner acts in this strange manner is deeply concerning and renders this a business I will be actively avoiding at all costs. Beware... Please note owner of Pizza Landing; if you continue to engage in lies about my complaint and cite incorrect connections with your business you can expect me to continue to engage in actively seeking to rebut this. Unfortunately its you that is making this personal, when a simple 'I'm sorry, and we will seek to improve our business in this area" would have more than sufficed and dealt with the issue. Under new management. Unfortunately the new managers are clearly not service orientated folk. Food standards have also dropped, told them there pasta sauce tasted very different. The lady said thanks for the compliment....I meant to say the sauce doesn't taste as nice. Also when I rang another time at night someone answered the phone...." Hello pizza landing we are closed for the night" didn't even get a word in.... You may want to answer the phone "Good evening this is pizza landing" then after the person speaks... say sorry we are closed for the evening. I think the old owner has clearly left the business for personal reasons...shame really as I thought he ran a pretty good pizza place. I gave the business a 5* reviews last year. I don't think that applies anymore. Maybe it'll turn...

Pizza Landing serves up the best pizzas I may have ever had!! The menu has great variety and is levels above every other take out pizza shop in West Auckland.. The staff are also very friendly, great with communication when taking orders and greet you with a smile upon pick-up. I have never been let down with their delicious pizzas that are always consistently well made along with being generously covered with quality toppings. I recommend trying the Fettucine which is better than most Italian restaurants, the beer batter fries are also a great side. I can't recommend this place enough, 5...
