I bought a $17 chicken wings and chips special and topped it up with an extra $3 chips to make it $20 all up and took that as my plate to a Sunday whanau lunch.

Pheeeorr!! The cuzzies and I were teleported back to our youth as we opened the greasy layers of newsprint and tucked into the juicy chicken wings in a light crispy coating and Lims trademark soggy chips (I forgot how much I love the chips!).

This place is very generous. Its almost like they are trying to give away food. They stuff the boxes which cost a measly 5$ or $7, till they cant be closed. This has happenned not just once or twice but every single time. I have gone here 50+ times in hangry desperation and have seen them do the same with every other customer before and after me. They are extremely kind with their portions to the point it makes you wonder if they make any profit at all or are doing this as a form of charity. Always busy with customers whenever I go.
