Air New Zealand New Plymouth Regional Lounge — Local services in North Island

Generally fantastic and I always choose to fly with airnz when I can, however ground crew at New Plymouth Airport were unprofessional, unsympathetic and unwilling to even try and help. After being 5min late to check in to a domestic flight with no baggage and the plane was still on the ground. Staff were too eager to move me to the next flight 2 hours away and charge an extra $100 when my original flight was half empty and not departing for another 25min. I understand these are tough times for everyone but thats exactly when you need to show a little more compassion toward your clients. Went through NP airport and into the koru lounge today for a flight to Christchurch and the staff were so helpful.

Upon entry, my partner and I were immediately greeted by a staff member that helped us check in, and offered to move our seats together before I even had to ask. We then went into the koru lounge, where the gentleman working was professional, helpful and generally lovely to us.

Nice and Friendly A regional Koru lounge with lots of sun and views. Helpful staff with clear communication and lots of support. Good range of reading material and food.
