fish burger had way too much coleslaw & sauce in it, the fish tastes off. Could be because it was drowned in coleslaw & sauce. I also bought chinese for the Whanau. the shrimp egg foo yong had 6 little shrimps. had way too much peas, the egg was overcooked & scrambled with water at the bottom of the dish, the orange beef had an odd bitter taste not nice at all, it tasted like the beef was minced not nice, the sweet n sour chicken was was the only one not so bad but again hardly any chicken. 20/6/19 I have been coming to this shop for my takeaway 'treats' for many years now. Have always found them polite & ready for a chat. Only popped in for a few chips as I had the munchies. There was a lot and they were hot & crisp. Have always enjoyed the food here, from Chinese to burgers, toasted sandwiches etc. Shop is always clean and although small, still has chairs to rest in with enough room for a small overflow when they're occupied. We just got some hot chips on this visit and they were cooked well and a good sized scoop. The service the stand out. The older woman working was the highlight of our visit to the bay! We talked about her beautiful orchids she has in the shop. Such a lovely genuine conversation. Customer service and a good chat goes a long way! We will be back to try more items...
