A hidden gem in Titahi Bay. First impressions said not to expect too much but that was my first mistake. We scanned in and showed our vaccine passes then took a seat. Nothing particularly flash, a few pieces of art on the walls, a couple of community notices. You could easily assume that this was a community drop in centre. The coffee was perfectly extracted - not too hot not too cold. Staff were friendly. The menu had the usual suspects and I'm always keen to test the hollandaise sauce but the turkish eggs sounded interesting. We ordered them and 15 minutes later we were surprised with a beautifully plated breakfast that could easily have been served at Floriditas or Olive. The eggs which were perfectly poached sat on a not too generous serving of natural yogurt and a spicy tomato relish sprinkled with enough dukkah to add texture and garnished with chilli oil. The turkish bread had been generously buttered and grilled enough to caramalise the butter but was still soft and just what was needed to mop up the plate. We were almost tempted to order another serving to share between us! We got 2 more coffees to go which were as delicious as the first and left happy and promising to come back. If this is the calibre of food they're serving at T Cafe then I am definitely rrying the hollandaise next time! Sorry (not sorry) for the photo of an empty plate but it...

First visit we already knew it was expensive due to others opinions. Bt we wanted to try as i had seen great reviews on fb. So we took the drive to titahi bay js to visit this cafe. We turned up & it was packed outside, inside wasnt too bad. Staff were nice and welcoming, they handed us menus and took our order politely. Brought some water to the table and cutlery. Food was quick which was awesome. We ordered bacon & egg benedict. Sorry to say but It wasnt that great or worth the price. It was ontop of potatoe hash which tasted different had a weird flavour. Everything else was ok and as expected but i would had prefered English muffins instead and maybe hash brown on the side. Just to make it look more worth the price. My Iced chocolate looked nicely presented i was excited to try but when i tasted it, i was dissapointed as it had no flavour. Just tasted like milk with ice. Def needed more chocolate flavour in there and maybe some syrup ontop. Anyways Hot fries and Garlic bread i must say was nice and generous portion, we enjoyed them. Awesome to see the streets of titahi bay used in ur menu btw.

I Know this business is still starting out and im sure with good or bad feed back they can only improve. Will definitely try again in the future and hopefully will be able to comeback and give a...

Been to this cafe a few times and always liked it but today something had changed. Took about 15mins for someone to take our order then after 30mins noted two tables who came in a long time later were getting their food. Asked what was going on the staff member came back and said they would get on to the order now and the drink would be free. Then the manager (I think) came over saying it was the till playing up… I said the staff should be paying more attention to their tables she could not take this feed back on board. We then watched her telling the story of what happened to the staff and laughing about it. A real shame this cafe used to be so good but would not recommend to...

Slipped in for a coffee , decided to try their Herewini breakfast. Tomato, mushrooms, black pudding, bacon, breakfast sausages, hash brown, eggs on toast and in house made baked beans with a hint of cayenne pepper........Chef must have read my mind , because everything was cooked damn near 100% of the way I like it.....Coffee topped me off nicely (firecracker blend from Good Fortune Coffee Co). Nice outdoor areas , front and back , and lovely friendly staff ....Definitely a must visit if down in the "Bay".

First time at t bay cafe. Looks like a very popular spot, and easy to tell why. Friendly staff. Good vibes. They serve a wide variety of food and will try to cater to your dietary needs. Lots of vegan, gluten free and keto options. I tried the Te Pene Turkish eggs for brunch and I loved it. Beautifully poached eggs with garlic yoghurt, spiced Turkish sauce, hazelnut dukkah with crisp toasted Turkish bread. Yum. They serve Good Fortune coffee. Will come again. Well done :)
