Racecourse Takeaways — Local services in North Island

Paid $9.50 for an Egg burger,... that had a nice bun bit of tomato sauce, Egg, nice Meat pattie, Mayo and lettuce NO Onion, No Tomato very disappointed because even at McDonald's you get a pickle and onion. The Gurnard was lovely and fresh but the spring roll was very small and not flavorsome. The chips were yummy dry and no fat on the paper but no salt either and as we were eating at a park we had no access to salt. For what we got it was very expensive $36. But a sign of the times. We were recommended to come here and we will come back but definitely will check before ordering. A lick of paint and a bucket of hot soapy water in the actual waiting area...

IV been coming here for the last year or so and it's be great! But tonight it was awful batter was very soggy on fish,crab sticks and dogs, chips were super over cooked and full of oil , and i nearly fell over when I nearly paid $100 for food my family couldn't really eat, but they were under the pump very busy! So I won't say I won't be back because I believe you can't be perfect every time as I know what it's like as my family owns a fish and chip shop, so we'll see you again soon hopefully a better...

Sadly ,my experience was not that great . In the past the food was perfection .

Went in on Sunday got fish and chips The chips were great n lovely But the fish n grab stick tasted extremely fishy n grab stick tasted off.

But the worse experience was the batter it was like rubber skin ,elastic

This is actually the first time I have ever experienced this from this takeaway shop....normally they are spot on perfection.

It makes me wonder if they are the same...
