The Good Farm — Local services in North Island

Small store with some fresh produce - salad greens, cucumbers, eggs and avos. Nice layout and clear signage. The main attraction is raw milk for sale - they are registered with MPI so have to submit samples for regular analysis. Microbiological data and advice re safe consumption are also published on MPI's website.

There was a door poster stating they were against "vaccine discrimination", there were also unmasked visitors who did not sign in in the brief time I was there. Raw milk is dispensed in a vending machine type rig, so I guess employees did not need to hang around and ensure a masked and distanced environment indoors.

My family had an great time at The Good Farm with a farm tour of the overall operations and workings of the farm and animals. Loren was our guide and he was really passionate and cheerful to share his knowledge. From the vegetable bed to the farm animals not a single detail was missed, he really strives to ensure the best animal welfare and takes a different approach to the animals diet to ensure the best milk quality (raw milk is also a must try). I so love coming to The Good Farm. It's more than a trip to get delicious, raw, creamy, milk. They also grow and sell their own vegetables, which are also delicious. They sell eggs as well.
