I got a combination fried rice and chicken and chips pack last night and was a lil stunned when they confirmed and said pick up in less than 15 mins 🤔 Admittedly it was around 8.30pm last night when I ordered and paid online but they accepted and confirmed the order amd payment. When I got it home it was really dry and YUK! 🤮 the whole thing looked, smelled and tasted like it wasn't freshly cooked and I got what was left over in the dish where everyone helps themselves....NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!! had you been open I would've brought it back and asked for a refund!!! I know what your fried rice tastes like I have it every now and again but this batch was not fresh and it had dried up pieces of meat in it and a flavour I couldn't recognize that made it less than edible. I paid $17 for really bad food and no I am not happy!!! The other thing I thought was rude was, for the few minutes I was there waiting they spoke in their own language and each one looking at me while they did it. Probably pussed off I made an order just before they closed. They should've just declined the order!!!

If you accept an order you should cook a fresh batch not give out your leftovers. Just a warning people don't order adter 8.30pm. You will get ripped...

Literally de worst Indian food I have ever eaten in my entire life.

Ordered a salty lassi. Instead of a refreshing beverage I was served with something I could only describe as being completely identical to mayonnaise. Taste. Texture. Horrific experience.

Also had buttered lamb. The meat was super tough and barely there and sauce that it was in, was flavorless, excessively liquidy and what looked like to be straight milk pored on top.

Honestly so disappointed with the food here. For Taurunga, I expected more. Really made our experience here so much less appealing.

You get better Indian in Kaikohe.

I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 1 scoop of chips. Let me start with the chips...a lovely mix of soft and crispy, not too greasy and nice amount of salt. Nice generous scoop. Also impressed with the slits that were placed in the wrap to avoid soggy chips. Aaah and the cheeseburgers..almost always been disappointed with excuses for cheese burgers! But not with Welcome Bays. Delighted with a visible layer of cheese, big generous meat patty, lettuce fresh and crispy, and a great balance of sauces. Just lovely. Thank you Welcome...
