Bay Masala — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

Can I have some more teeth shattering bits of bone in my Butter Chicken please? like the fourth time I've ordered and bitten into a piece of this trash and have to pluck sharp things out of my mouth.

Never ordering again.

Pretty average restaurant in all honesty. To be frank just go to one of the other three restaurants/takeaways 20 seconds walk from this place and get a better product for generally a cheaper sum.

Stuff tastes frozen, refrigerated, spooned out of a week old tub filled with cheap cuts of meat and sauce that gives you crook guts. Go eat something else tbh, substitute the indian craving for decent food instead or order from one of the more reputable ones in Tauranga with equally or better value. Baked beans on toast costs you like 2 dollars, 20 dollars from these jokers gives you broken teeth and sore guts.

Last night, I had the pleasure of ordering from Bay Masala Takeaways, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The highlight of my meal was the garlic naan – it was absolutely delicious! The naan was perfectly baked, with just the right amount of garlic and a soft, fluffy texture that made it irresistible.

Fantastic! All dishes were beautifully cooked, we had the onion bhaji and samosas for an entree. Butter chicken and lamb saagwala for mains coupled with garlic naans and a couple of beers.

All flavours were absolutely on point, I especially enjoyed the saag which was very fresh and tasty. The garlic naan was some of the best I've had. Portion sizes were generous and overall the meal was excellent value for money.

Will definitely be returning!
