My partner, his dad and I went for a 6 hour trip yesterday and it was amazing! Tim was our skipper and he was friendly, super knowledgeable about the area and wildlife and professional. Booking the trip via Karena was so easy and great communication. The trip goes to beautiful areas, the boat was very comfortable and well equipped, and catered to all wants of our group. The lunch was delicious and exceeded our expectations with some local cheeses and meats. I joined their Perfect Day Out tour on a family trip in April 2024 and it was incredible! As a choose your own adventure kind of day, there was the opportunity to kayak, hike, relax on the beach, etc. and the scenery while doing so is amazing. The guide on board was very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the day. We saw a variety of wildlife and I was in awe of the birdsong from Adele Island when we stopped to take it in. They provide a beautiful lunch spread with a variety of locally sourced produce. We had the most wonderful day with Abel Tasman Charters. Our two pilots were outstanding in terms of taking care of the group. The Boat was nice and we had a smaller group than normal (9 Pax). We had a nice cruise around the Abel National Park and made two stops, once for doing a short hike and next to explore another part of the park. There was also an option to swim and do kayaking.
